At Home with Sarah Jenema

When Sarah and her family grew out of their duplex in West Town, she knew she wanted a single family home in a quiet, friendly neighborhood that had easy access to the highway. They weren't super familiar with Jefferson Park, but over the last year Sarah, her husband EJ, and son Kip have fallen in love with their new surroundings.

Moving into a new construction meant that it was a blank canvas to work with. Sarah and her husband were able to put their own personal touch on their new home and it shows. Drawing inspiration from online bloggers and social media at first, but ultimately    Sarah was able to see first hand design ideas in the homes that she shows as a Realtor with Olive Well at Compass.

Sarah's favorite project was having their custom built-ins installed in the living room, their favorite part of their home. They selected walnut shelving to tie into other walnut finishes and tables throughout their home.  A fun fact about Sarah is that she has recently become a plant mom with NINE thriving plants. She found that her new home had so much natural sunlight that it was time to test her green thumb. From her plants to seasonal decor and photos to records displayed on the shelves, this beautiful home is a direct reflection of it's equally beautiful owners.
